How the figures are kept

  • Click-through rate is worked out from stored clicks and impressions, never taken as Google's pre-averaged figure.
  • Search Console revises a day for about three days, so recent days are re-read.
  • Query, page and country are collected for completed months.

What it does not do

  • The four headline metrics cover web search only; the other surfaces are separate figures and do not add up to them.
  • Days are UTC days, so a range edge can differ by a day from Google's own report.

Connecting

  1. Sign in with Google and grant read-only access to Search Console.
  2. Pick a verified site: a domain property or a URL prefix.

Read-only wherever the provider allows it. Tokens are encrypted at rest and a connection can be revoked at any time.

How data is handled

Once connected

  • Pulled daily at the hour your workspace chooses, with fourteen months of history where the provider allows.
  • Every figure keeps the request and response that produced it.
  • Available to every answer, dashboard and deck in the workspace.
